Home Depot builder proton pack/power cell question

Any of you who build non-shell Home Depot packs; have you ever used one of these for the power cell box?

I haven’t seen one before, but it looks like a good option for a scratch-built pack.

i had to stare at it for a few minutes to get what you were saying, but then when i tilted my head i thought

“OH YEAH! THAT THING!”

so, for those of us who were like “what?” here:

powercell, blue light thing on the left of the pack with the two tubes coming from it under the ion arm.

i think it could work for a pack where one isnt concerned with accuracy. its worth a shot, if you’re doing it on yours im anxious to see how it comes together.

a shot of the side the way you would place it would be nice too(im not sure how a cover for it would come into play, and the cosmetic plate thingies either), tubes side down too plz.

When I saw this it reminded me of Gareee’s packs. He used a lot of plastic parts like this for his pack build.. nice find!

I love how that has the two pipe connectors at the bottom.. but how large is it? We had probems finding things that looked the proper size.. some looked too large, some too small.

Those look though like they’d solve some issues, if they are close enough in size.

When I was still on a budget I did something similar. I never finished that pack because I just wasn’t happy with it. It’s two 1" PVC conduit housings glued together.

Great idea! What else did you do? I’m looking for stuff like this!
