I never noticed when Ray Egon and Winston are looking for the river of slimer they are wearing their belt gizmos.
I could not find any mention of this variant on the entire Ghostbusters Fans Forum, but…
When he rushes in with a fire extinguisher to rescue Egon and Ray from the darkroom inferno, Winston has no “Ghostbusters” logo patch on his (tan) jumpsuit! –

… The more creative might try to suggest that this was a transitional jumpsuit, on which Winston had not yet finished getting his “GBII” patch, except that he was wearing that patch a couple scenes earlier at the Museum –

Ray addresses Peter as “Venkie” –
*“This should really get the city’s positive energy flowing, eh, Venkie?” * (1:28:36 according to my DVD player)
Well about the Winston in courtroom thing.
I realised that at the beginning he is talking with the guys, than louis has his opening speech and winston isnt in the background, than the old man is on the whitness place and winston is there, next scene peter is in the whitness stand and winston is gone also he isnt there anymore for the judges final speech just before the scoleri brothers are apering.
Also as I had read the book and the script, louis opening speech is in fact just befor the judge begins to screw up
I haven’t been able to make it out, when Ray and Winston leave the birthday party, I never noticed there’s something written on the back window of Ecto in the dirt…anyone make it out?
Also I never noticed in Egon’s experiment when he says what the temperature in the room is, you can see a digital screen that says 95. I never even looked over on the right side of the screen to see it.
The top word appears to be “Thomas” which is perhaps only discernable through the changing angle as the door opens. The letters “SKO” (?) also appear, and perhaps another word as well.

Also note in the above pics that Ray has LC 1 straps, unpadded as per the first film. Definitely padded when he was in the building at the party.
How has no one mentioned the little person? Courtroom scene.
Not in the movie itself, but I only just noticed how Ray is holding his slime blower sideways in the promotional photo used on the poster and soundtrack:
I noticed this a long time ago, but did anyone else notice that the author and psychic from Peter’s show early in the movie was almost right about the end of the world on the movie

Ha! I’ve never thought about it before!

That’s a story-telling technique called “foreshadowing.”
My favorite little thing to notice, is that during the World of the Psychic show, when Peter is interviewing Elaine, during the:
“So you’re alien had a room at the Holiday Inn, Paramus?”
“It might have been a room on the space craft made up to look like a room at the Holiday Inn, I’m not too sure about that, Peter.”
Right between her saying “That” and “Peter” her eyes dart to the right, as if she forgot his name and was reading it off the sign on the back of the stage.
Ha, thats awesome. Didnt notice that either.
Yeah, it took several viewings when the movie was playing on cable in the late 80’s/early 90’s before I figured out what her eye-dart was all about, and then that’s all I can ever see in that scene.
By the way, the actress playing Elaine is Chloe Webb, I think she’s uncredited at the end. She was “Linda Mason” in the previous Ivan Reitman film, Twins (1988) so it’s a little cameo thing.
Alex
She was also Nancy in Sid & Nancy! So she’s got some Gary Oldman cred going on. The first time I realized what the eye-dart was all about, I lolled so hard
I think he also calls him Spengie when they’re trapping the Scoleris. My son thought it was a blooper, because he heard it as Venky.
UPDATE- watched it with the subtitles on and there’s definitely a “Spengie” in there when they’re blasting the Scoleri Bros.

Was just watching the mood slime scene, and as you know it was the clip with the most air-play when the movie came out in the summer of '89. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL22CA1F57117C2CBB&feature=view_all
So my eyes began wandering to little tiny details.
Like the dustbuster on top of the fridge.

The five packs of cheese-n-crackers on top of the microwave. The periodic table of the elements on the wall behind.

The box of ice cream cones on top of the fridge (next to the dustbuster, not visible here because of Egon’s tall hair).

And the partially-obscured arcade game.

I looked for the same brand of ice cream cones online, but can’t find a decent shot. Those were the ones my parents always bought, so I’d love to see a crisp picture of the box again.
And what’s the videogame? All I can make out is Jun* Bu* or something like that.

That would be Jump Bug by Rock-Ola released in 1981.

Here’s some gameplay footage:
