How is the Trap pedal held on the utility belt?

OK, i know the trap is held onto the belt by a V-Hook on some sort of leather holder but does anybody know where and how the Pedal is held? It seems too heavy to just hang from a coiled cable.

I looked to see if anybody had asked this before so sorry if my eye sight has let me down again.

if you watch closely in the movie, ray tucks it into his belt

Several people here have been known to carry the pedal by hanging its grey ribbon cable over the trap handle. Probably not a good idea unless your ribbon cable is really secure, but it can work. It seems like there was a scene in the movie where it was carried this way, too.

The pedal was designed to fit over the trap.

With the way my trap pedal is built,I just loop my trap cable around the handle.

One of our team members used a hook similiar to a tape measure clip. It gives an unobstructed view of the trap and keeps the pedal from flopping around. It does take up more room on the belt.

From what my eyes can tell, Danny seems to have the pedal hanging from the red and yellow wires around the trap handle in the Sedgewick. You can see it when then first walk into the lobby.

Then in the scene where Ray and Peter talk over the walkies and when Ray comes to Peter’s aid, the pedal seems to be fitted over the top of the trap as AJ said. I can make out the stubby, fatter project box (the one with the resistor) and it’s label. But I can’t for the life of me figure out how it’s attached. However it is, it’s pretty tight to the trap because the pedal wiggles with the trap as Danny moves around, not on its own like in the lobby.

The pedal is on top of the trap secured via the leather strap.

I’d love to provide pics like that, but I don’t yet have a trap. I’ll be sure to post some pics once I finally have one, though.
