I am wanting to buy an autographed photo of Harold Ramis. How much is an autographed 8x10 photo of Harold Ramis selling for now that he has sadly passed away? I thought Ghostbusters fans would know the value so I won’t be charged more than it’s worth.
Whatever someone is willing to pay for it.
THIS
Also fake autographs are one of the biggest scams out there. They are easy to do and its equally easy to fake a “Certificate of Authenticity”
Obviously you can’t get it now, but the best idea is to get it yourself…after all an autograph is just ink on paper, the experience of getting it and meeting the person is what’s REALLY important.
That said, ask for a photo of him signing the item or pic…its not foolproof but slightly more credible.
Value depends on the rarity of the item, the demand for it, and the amount you want it…really you’d need to talk to an expert in the autograph field.
Sorry I can’t help you more, but hopefully my advice will help you NOT get ripped off.
Value is also determined upon whether you are SexySadie or not. If person (x)=Sadie, then value (y)=immeasurable and poetic.
Perfect example of this actually is my brother just posted a picture of Bill Murray’s autograph that was sent to him (via family member or some such)
Neat, except there’s no proof that he signed it.
And that it looks
completely
wrong
Signatures can evolve and change over the years, just to play Devil’s Advocate.
There are some guys who have their quick “I want to get out of here” signature, and then they have their nice clean signature for publicity photos and such. I’ve been guilty of that at comic book signings.
I have no clue what any of that may mean for Bill Murray, though. I’m surprised his signature is so consistent.
