Did a search but had trouble finding this. And reference pics of this seem hard to find as well. It appears a hole is cut for the wand tube to go into the pack. I have a feeling it’s that simple but want to verify. Anything I’m missing? Any help would be fantastic!
Well actually on the third day of every month at high noon if you hold a crystal up to the sun pointing directly north and at 32 degree angle downward it will shine on a …no im just kidding, just drill a hole in the bottom of the pack. I believe its 2 spaces over from the center space to the right. And if you make it at the open backside of the shell then you can attach your hose to the motherboard and just slide the shell on over the top o that.

i just cut a 3/4" hole with a hole saw and pushed it right in. using nonsplit it’s being held in with friction. the other end in the thrower is the same way.
From what I’ve seen a lot of folks put a hole through the tubing and bolt it down to the bolt nearest where it comes into the pack. The same one that hold the pack to the Alice frame.

The actual packs did it in a couple ways. The hole should be cut so it slides between the ribbing of the loom. Some packs had 2 small holes drilled into the motherboard under the loom and a zip tie cynched around it. Most packs had steel wire run from inside the thrower to one of the frame mounting screws in the pack. It doesn’t secure the loom into either end but it also won’t slip out because the loom’s longer than the distance of the wire. Personally I went the zip-tie route.
