Hyperdyne Labs Sound Board Speaker Help

Hey Guys, I got one of their sound boards just the other day. If I plug in a 1/8" plug that goes into a little stereo, I can get a lot of sound out of it. However, when I try hooking up a speaker from the same stereo to the ports they have made, I can’t get sound out of it. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem too. Thanks!

Can you post any pics?

I’ve found an answer to my own question. I went to radio shack and they sold a little sub woofer with 2 little speakers that were 14 watts and ran off of 9 volts. So I spliced the adapter and wired it to a 9 volt battery and it works great! I can adjust the volume to really quiet to really loud. They were 30 bucks after tax. If you want to see them, here they are on Radio Shack’s website. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2288208&cp=&sr=1&origkw=CA+speakers&kw=ca+speakers&parentPage=search

Once I get my mother board from Colin, I’ll install them and take pics of the whole thing. I might even make a video explaining how I did things on the pack.

I suspect that you had tried to plug the speaker into the line out (jack) instead of the amplified output (two individual wires). The output on it should be 40W and be plenty loud.
