Zombies leak into other universes to fight Transformers, GI Joe, Star Trek, and… Ghostbusters.

this is one of the coolest things ever. gijoes vs zombies takes me back to when i was into gijoes(i made a horde of custom zombies), and gb vs zombies is a natural progression. i can do without the tf/startrek stuff.
im glad to get my excitement about this in early, before “they” do.
Gotta say, I really like Hotz’s depiction of the guys on that cover, I can definitely get into a miniseries drawn by him if that’s the basis. some of you may recognise his work from Zombie: Simon Garth and its predessor.
And Ghostbusters vs Zombies? I can’t wait. Say what you will about them being done (pardon the pun) to death, there’s still plenty of angles to make the flesh eater comics of late unique.
I can’t wait to see what a proton stream can do to a zombie.

I always thought zombies would be a perfect use for the slime blowers. I would think the slime would neutralize the virus like it got rid of possessor ghosts in the video game. It would be a good reason to bring the slime blowers out again.
Not to get into a debate.
if you used the mood slime on the zombies, would you just have a happy dancing zombie, like weekend at bernies?
ideally, the proton pack would be in use. it would just decimate them.
Love that IDW is including GB in this project. Transformers, GI Joe, Star Trek… that is some pretty big name company.

This sounds like a game we would have played when we were kids involving all of our action figures. As long as it doesn’t take itself too seriously, it should be amusing.
Just a quick question. With the zombies branching into each franchise would every respected property be mixed within another? Example The Ghostbusters appearing in say a transformers or Star Trek title? Or will it be each franchise dealing with the problem with no cameos by other outside properties? The reason I ask is because Infestation #1 comes out before each Independent title so will we see them all together in one place or will it take place in each stand alone title?
it’s a company wide event… though, all 4 titles are independent of each other. It’s just a theme all four books are doing at the same time. So, we won’t see Kirk shooting a phaser at Slimer while Optimus Prime runs over Cobra Commander while zombies are eating the populace… that… wow that sounds like a really bad fan fic >_<
That’s because you didn’t have Egon meeting Spock, Ray doing maintenance on and upgrading Bumblebee, or Winston getting reactivated and being drafted into the Joes. No idea what to do with Venkman though. Maybe have him hit on Scarlett or Uhura.
Any other bad fanboy ideas we can throw in? You know there are an endless supply of those. 
I could see Egon reworking the Enterprise’s phasers into GIANT proton cannons to fight Serpentor (why do I know that name?? I’m not even a GI Joe fan!?)
