Okay. So I use to be able to join most games, now these past 2 days all I’m getting is the fail to join message! I can’t play ranked or unranked games. I can’t play with friends and strangers. I’ve emailed atari about this problem and I don’t get a freaking ‘thank you for emailing us’ email. its bs. It’s driving me crazy!!!
i too am having this problem. i couldn’t even join your game the last time. but yesterday i was able to get on a join a game or two but after that i couldn’t join anymore. Anyone else having this problem?

I usually wind up starting games of my own and usually have not seemed to have trouble with other people joining them. I did just recently add a bunch of people from this site and one of them sent me an invite, but when I tried to join it didn’t work. Maybe that is the same thing, though their status did say “Pending” so maybe they had sent it to me when they were online and they had since logged off, or something.
I really like this game… Wait. Let me rephrase. I really like what this game could be. But any lack of response about the glitches is really starting to get under my skin. I’ve emailed Atari a couple times, asking, quite politely, if they know about these issues and if there is anything that is being done to resolve them. Never got an answer of any kind. No, “we’re currently working on it,” or “it’s not worth our time and money so we’re going to leave it as is,” or even a “fuck off.”
I’m about ready to demand a refund as I’m not able to use this game as intended. If it weren’t for all these achievement and online issues, I’d still be playing it today. But I’ve pretty much stopped playing it entirely for about two weeks or more now.
To be clear, if you are using a PS3 and having these problems and happen to have a router? Unplug your router and directly connect your PS3 to the modem. Most routers will cause problems with PS3s. Its a problem, I’m well aware with.
I did this and could connect to every game, no problem.
For the record, I have a 360, and have no problem with my connectivity for any other game. I can play Halo 3, Scene It!, Battlefield 1943 and several others without any kind of connection issues. Ghostbusters is the only one where I have these problems.

I haven’t had any problems.
But I only play games on Saturday nights so I don’t have enough play time to make an educated opinion.

It’s 50/50 with me if I can jopin a game or not. The ‘Failed to join game session’ message is annoying now and is spoiling the fun for me with the online part of the game.
It really needs to be looked at, but after a month and nothing said I think they are just going to leave it as the game will start to dwindle online numbers soon as it begins to lose popularity.

This I can explain,the person who is hosting the game is in another country.
Atari still has not responded to my original request so I sent another less paitient, yet still professional response and I also contacted Sony who did email me some things to try to see if it will fix it. I will try these things and if they work, I’ll post them for you guys ASAP. This is for the PS3 only. I can’t do much for a 360 as I don’t own one to trouble shoot. I’ll keep everyone posted on how this goes.
mines fine, 360 version playing from u.k and if you think this games multiplayer has issues, play gears of war 2
Great news ! I recieved an E-mail from terminal reality earlier today and I quote
" We are working on a patch for the PS3. It will be announced when ready. "

That’s great to hear. Hopefully there will be one for the XBox as well. With everything we’ve seen and heard about TR and their public relations, I would honestly have been surprised if they weren’t going to try and fix this.
Here’s hoping it’ll take care of all our joint issues.

Last night I was playing some survival games with 4 other people and the game kept freezing on me. I had to shut off my 360 and start all over again. What is making this happen? Is anyone getting this also?
