I present my $25 pack. Most of the item I had laying around, except for the LED lights, rubber maid containers , 3 cans of flat black paint and the $5.00 foldable Ipod speakers, red/blue flashing LED lightup dice from the dollar store and Alice pack straps. Lots of hot glue…
Don’t worry the street sign was from surplus and not stolen. I cut it with a plasma cutter.
Quick video of the dollar store LED dice light in the wand tip and speakers. The dice is actived by the switch on the box box. The speaker were from Big Lots. $5.00 and run on 4 AAA batteries. They are amazingly loud. I hit them with a coat of black as there were IPod white before.
You are right. I may move the mounting strap locations lower on the boar so that it sits up higher. I looks a little saggy as it is. I just ran out of time before last Sat rolled around. I used some old nylon straps and self tapping sheet metal screws to put them flush with the top. I 'll drop them down about 4" before Friday night.
I wish, it included as part of the “stuff laying around”. I did find that hot glue holds super strong, yet once you break the bond the glue comes right off the polished Ipod finish.
