International Movie Posters

Paul Feig just posted this movie poster from Taiwan

Thanks for posting that, Mike.

You’re welcome and I imagine we’ll be seeing more as get closer and closer to July 15. Officially less than a month away.

That’s cool how the background appears to be a painting/hand drawn.

Just noticed Stay Puft on the far right

I love it!

The ad is the same as the real thing!

Here’s the french poster.

The marketing department managed to f*&# the headline by putting “Who will you call?”.

I love how Kevin is holding a handgun.

Alphagaia.

Despite what appears to be our drastic differences on the quality and promise of this new movie being good. I just want to say that I find your childlike wonder and optimism endearing. I only wish that I could remember how it felt to have that kind of hope towards things (I think I lost mine when Attack of the Clones came out).

I want you to have this. You… you’ve earned it.

He was a out to drill a hole in his head but we stopped him.

Who you gonna call translate exactly like this in french. I don’t see No

Problem.

Thx! The secret is to have an open mind and knowing this is not the only new thing related to GB. Even movie related.

“Qui allez-vous appeler ?” is “Who are you going to call?” with no slang.

Also, the original headline was “Qui c’est qu’on appelle ?”. So, yeah, there’s a problem.

And the URL on the poster doesn’t even work. :whatever:

I get ya but if isnt that far Off.

I am actually from Belgium and i Speak French. That doesn’t sound very different. [emoji4]

You would be shoked to know how some english titles are translated.

Moi aussi.

I think it’s quite sad that they don’t care about continuity. Even more when Lego’s marketing put more effort into it:

Mio parlare un poco Italiano.

Ik ben best wel super goed in Nederlands.

“S.O.S. FANTOMS” lmao. Maybe that’s the title that we should have stuck with as well.

I always thought it was pretty cool.
