Interview: The Other Side Author Keith Champagne

While there might be some delays on a few Ghostbusters Projects scheduled this year, we cannot forget about this one that is still on track for release in October. Ghostbusters Fans managed to talk with Keith Champagne, the author of the new Ghostbusters: The Other Side comic series.

Keith lets us in on the kind of work that went into prepareing for the new comic, as well as how the story will be laid out. If all goes sucessfully, this won’t be the last Ghostbusters comic mini-series released.

cool i cant wait for this comic i wasnt able to get the 88mph comics because they were sold out

It’s kind of a shame. The comics were probably set to get some major hype and attention with the game coming out, the Blu Ray disks, and all that. Now both those things have been postponed, so if the comics still come out this Fall, they won’t have the same hype backing them. Obviously we will all still get them, but I want them to do really well so the continue and hopefully become a monthly series. They would have had a better chance of doing really well with the game and the Blu Ray disks coming out. Hopefully they still do really well and maybe help to get the Ghostbusters craze going.

Cool! Hopefully the GB comic will be able to overcome the hurdles. Not only the possible game delay to coincide with it but also the 88MPH comic problems may deter people from checking it out. Hopefully not.

Well, I figure the main people who were effected by the 88MPH bull crap were probably us Ghostbusters fanatics anyway. The more casual Ghostbusters fans probably didn’t bother to pre-order the trade that was supposed to come out, and may not have cared as much about the delays. So, hopefully they won’t be negatively effected bt that at all, since we are all likely to check out the new comics anyway no matter what.
