Now the game has mentioned shandor and we all know a little of the gozer worshiper from GB1 but i have been wondering will he be making a ghostly appearance in game. What got me thinking is the cgi scenes we have scene of that big robed ghost flying around in the museum at the shandor exhibit and that makes me think that that probably is shandor. Which would explain why he seems from the footage to be a tough fighter
That ghost has already been identified in a previous interview with TR staff. I can’t remember his name but he is an old sea captain, davy jones-esq ghost. If you look up the Gametrailers TV episode they did on Ghostbusters from last year you’ll see they mention this character. So no it’s not Ivo Shandor…
Papi Sargassi? Is that him? Reminds me of a Filmation’s Ghostbusters character, the ghost pirate lol he does look to have that same life preserver on him.

No offence, but the picture in the initial post doesnt look anything like Papi Sargassi. The guy had a purple robe, has long blonde hair, and is wearing brown boots. He’s also wearing a golden medallion on his chest.
He probably isn’t sargassi, but I don’t see what suggests that he could be Shandor, the Mayor was closer to what Shandor would be if he makes an appearance then that spook. It just looks like a mean ghost.
Anyway ordinary Paul Rubens was supposed to play Gozer in the movie but Gozer was to appear as the form of Evo Shandor! That would be absolutely hilarious if they modled him after Paul Rubens! As long as they don’t make him look like PeeWee Herman!
