Last Christmas, my dad ordered me a logo patch and nametag from him and I didn’t even know about all the bad feedback about him. Good to see he wasn’t having any family or health issues at that time. Luckily they were received in a timely manner. It may have been on ebay I think.
Without knowing the guy personally - he hand delivered my order (from his site) since I’m in Vegas - just to say hi. I’ll say this for the guy - he’s extremely passionate about GB, very friendly guy who freely gave me tons of advice (even directed me to some of his suppliers for me to save money - what kind of ‘bad guy’ does that???) If he was so generous with me, obviously he’s more of an artist at heart than a good businessman which might explain why his dealings might have suffered a bit - but that’s how it goes with artists sometimes. What can ya do. I prefer an artist any day. ![]()
I recently was part of a group buy for nametapes and no-ghost patches.
I was only chipping in, without knowing where it was to be ordered from. When I knew, I must say I got somewhat nervous but it was made and shipped in a timely manner.
I must say that the no-ghost patches are very good looking, better then what I expected from the pictures I’ve seen of them. I wouldn’t go back to another style patch now that I’ve got the ones I have, they are just perfect and accurate!
I’m still uncertain about bigger orders, but I know I’ll look for him next time I order no-ghost patches, until I find some other sources with the same craftsmanship for quality patches… and I’ll surely pass trough eBay.
Just got some more great patches from Joseph. Custom name and no-ghost. Got 'em through eBay. Fast shipping to UK. Would definately recommend going via eBay if purchasing from him.
My dealings with Joe have been so-so. I bought a gb patch, custom nametag, and web belt from him at the same time about 2 months ago, the belt arrived within 5 days of ordering but the patches took 2 weeks, which is acceptable for a custom nametag I guess. BTW he always sends USPS priority and I only live about 250 miles from Vegas, which is peanuts distance to USPS. Upon getting the belt, it was way too small, so I emailed him and he got back to me right away and said to send the belt back along with $6 for shipping for a belt that is 7 inches longer. I emailed him last week and he said he had received the returned belt and the replacement was going out “next”(now this) week so we’ll see what comes in the mail. I also emailed him on another occasion regarding childrens-sized Gb patches and once again he got right back to me and said that yes he’s made them before and that they are the same price as the regular size patches and have the same turnaround time.
Update on the larger belt replacement as of 12 September.
*"It was shipped
It should have been there a while ago, Vegas to CA doesn’t take that long
I will get another one out to you today or Tuesday"*
It makes me wonder if he ever really sent it out in the first place.
He didn’t send it in the first place. That’s part of his game. ANYONE that complains about not getting their items always receives the same response, that it must have been lost in the mail. He told me that at least twice on the same package. He either loses 60% of his merchandise in the mail or he’s a lying bastard…he’s screwed enough people over that I know it’s the latter.
right, like why would he be so willing to just shell out another one, no questions asked? mmmm, at least he is responding to my emails quickly. I don’t want to see Joe end up blacklisted, but he’s digging his own grave over here.
He’s been doing it for many years, in my opinion he deserves to be blacklisted already.
Sent Joseph a pretty firm email today demanding my belt replacement and also warning him that he is in danger of being blacklisted here and on proptopia and if that happened then he would lose a lot of business and advertising from folks like us. He responded quickly with a tracking #. We’ll see what turns up in the mail.
Nothing like lighting a fire of a threat under a person, especially with the threat of lost business to get a jerk of a seller to get his butt in gear.
Here’s what the tracking number tells me as of this morning, 25 September:
**Label/Receipt Number: 0103 8555 7493 6624 3681
Status: Processed
Your item was processed and left our LAS VEGAS, NV 89119 facility on September 25, 2008. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later. **
Should be here tomorrow as I’m only 250 miles from Las Vegas
FINALLY got my XL belt today after only 2 1/2 months and several emails. It’s too bad that it fits PERFECTLY because I will never order anything from J. Kerezman ever again. No-ghost patches from GBfans shop and nametags from katarra8 are the only way to go now. Or through Paranormal Labs aka Vinicius Ayres if you dont mind a primo logo with a black border. Here’s some pics of how J. Kerezman extended the belt. Pretty good job if you ask me.
I bought my patches off him mid september and I recieved them a few days later and was really happy with the quality. They’re the best patches I’ve seen for sale.
I don’t think he’s a scam artist. He has great feedback on Ebay. 99.5% positive from over 2700 sales. You don’t get much better than that. If he was failing to mail out people’s stuff right and left he wouldn’t have a near perfect score.
his feedback on ebay does not reflect his website business’ experiences. There’s some pretty sad stories out there about what he’s done to people who have paid him a lot of money for costumes. Btw, I DID get my patches and FIRST belt (too small) quickly but the shipping of the replacement belt took almost 3 months.
um the gfans shop patches ARE kerezman’s.
my very first order from him took a long time, 2 1/2 months. but i have ordered from him many more times through ebay and have never had a problem. all my patches and name plates are from him
Maybe he makes sure to get the ebay stuff out quick so he keeps in good standing there. Might be a good idea to order from him only through ebay if that’s the case. ![]()
Yeah that’s a good plan, keep supporting a guy who will screw people who can’t leave him negative feedback. The guy has screwed a lot of people over in the past and lies to pretty much every customer who complains when their shit doesn’t come.
So I guess everyone who orders from him needs to start including a disclaimer that he is close to being blacklisted and know about his reputation and they’ll get their items I guess ![]()
I would say if you absolutely think you have to do business with him, do it through eBay. Otherwise I’d wait on AJ to get them from him since you know you can trust AJ. You’ll get your patches and nametags.
There really isn’t any excuse anymore for all the stuff he’s done/not done though.
Yeah dude I know. I meant I’ll never purchase directly from HIM. Purchasing items from AJ that have come from J. Kerezman is NOT the same as purchasing them directly from J. Kerezman.
