Just thought I’d relay my experience dealing with J. Kerezman. I was looking on ebay to see what I could find in the way of GB props and I came across a listing for one of his deluxe custom uniforms. I thought that since I am not a seamstress and hadn’t found any place/seller that does the custom name tags I decided to give it a try. Now before I ever ordered one I had communications with him asking about sizing and such which he was really good about providing the info for.
Eventually I got the funds together and ordered one on the 8th of August 2008. Then I found this thread which shook my confidence some since the general feelings are mixed about how good or bad a seller he is. So I waited for a few weeks and then after that towards the end of August I sent him and email to hopefully get an idea as to how soon I might receive the order. I got an email back saying that it would go out the following Monday. Sure enough by that Thursday I had the uniform!
I want to clarify that I was not looking for 100% movie accurate or anything like that so I’m sure there are probably a few imperfections, but I don’t know about em and I doubt Joe Average would either. You can see the pic of me in the uniform in my profile. It did come with everything he said it would, including the elbow pads and I just wanted to add that since I know I’m not wearing them in the pic to avoid any confusion.
I have to say that at least this time he worked just fine for me. It took a good while to receive it, but I think it was worth it. However if anyone is reading this and the other posts and is still not sure about getting an order from him then by all means don’t order and let caution guide you. I learned that the hard way with the pack I purchased off of ebay, but that’s another story for another time…
im not saying no one cant or shouldnt produce an alternative. i would love to see one that rivals his and i when do; i’ll be the first to say it. the one and only person to ever come close to what seemed to be of the same quality were the ones that vini offered. vini had great patches except for the thick black boarder that surrounded the whole thing, which he did end up thinning it out. and i do believe he was working on changing that boarder to have it blend in; he was going to use red and white in the appropriate areas instead of black around the whole thing. but that was a long time ago and i never heard anything more about it.
im still sticking with my original feelings though. after all that has been posted about him, if a person still wants to do business with him; thats a risk they have to be willing to take. but dont come crying when things dont work out. there is plenty of warning and you’re not gonna get any sympathy, not from me at least. i just hope to continue to have the good business with him that i do.
I ordered from him before. At first he replied to my emails right away. After my order was placed all that changed. I waited for about 2 months, and didn;t get a thing. I waited another two months, still nothing. I never did get my stuff, a refund, or an email back.

I ordered a no-ghost and custom nametag patch on eBay from him at the beginning of the month on the 2nd or 3rd. I emailed him on the 12th stating that I hadn’t received my order and was just wondering what was going on because his eBay listing for the patches had disappeared completely. He responded saying that “No mail ran today, it shipped last week so it should be there tomorrow or tuesday.” That was last week. I still have not received my patches. And I am running out of time for Halloween. Very unhappy with this guy and if they are not here by the end of the week he will hear from me.
Just ordered a GB2 patch from Katarra8 as a backup.
I send ol’ Joe an email a few weeks ago asking if he could have me a custom name and logo patch by 8/22… he said that it wouldn’t be a problem at all. i knew that he could sometimes be unreliable, but for the sake of accuracy, i gave him a chance.
yeah… won’t be doing THAT again. here’s hoping a can get a refund from Paypal. I really wish someone RELIABLE would pop up with accurate patches.
…and WHY isn’t this guy blacklisted again?
Because some people do get their stuff it seems.
i ordered a gb one suit from him in over dyed grey.
it looked nothing like in the pics.
so i returned it and asked him give me the color in the pics.
he sent me another one and it was still wrong…
so i ate the 119 dollar loss…
if any1 can provide me with a grey flightsuit i will pay good money for one.

Is J. Kerezman still on ebay? I went looking for him to see if I would take a chance on patches for next year, because I already have patches from Katarra8, but I can’t even find him.

If you don’t get your stuff, file a report with PayPal, and eBay. I don’t know why thee half of you just give up it seems.

Joe contacted me a few days ago and told me he had been in the hospital. He sent the patches and said a partial refund is on the way for the delay. The patches arrived today… and wow… you guys were right… these things are NICE! VERY NICE!
As for the custom GB1 nametag… I dabble in graphic design from time to time. His font work is spot-on, but just a tad bit large. By far the most accurate I’ve seen available, though.
Well, after reading this thread, I’m torn. Can anyone offer a reliable alternative seller that sells the custom over-dyed grey suits (GB1 style)?
None of the over dyed suits I have ever seen from him look even remotely accurate to GB1 suits. Plus I think they are pretty costly (though I don’t remember the prices now) for a $30 flight suit dyed.

Can you recommend someone else? What about Halloween…Junkie? He’s also offering custom dyed grey suits. Are they good?
im not sure but i think Halloween Junkie is the same guy … i wanted to order an ecto google but just figure out that he uses the same pictures as on the page CostumeCostumeCostume.com
