I’m still in the midst of making my pair of goggles and am very interested in knowing what different kinds of “things” other people have used to enhance their goggles. I think a list of items that have been used in fan-props might be helpful for other builders in the future. That and I’ve been having a hard time finding things to do the trick. I got a knob off an old radio but I’m a little unsure on how to approch attaching it.
I found some little wooden knick knacks and doo dads at a local craft shop…about 8 cents a piece.
(obviously the goggles aren’t done. I was just piecing it together so I could geek out over them).
I’ve been meaning to get down to the studio to work more on my pack and goggles. I got two bottle caps, a 20 oz pop cap and a powerade cap, that I want to put on as knobs. The Powerade cap needs a good sanding on top to smooth out/ get rid of the indented “P” on it. The pop cap just needs a nice layer of black paint on top to cover the logo and other small writing. I may even try to paint on white dashes on it to look like a dial. But I’ll need one fine brush.
