labels...??!!!??

i am a graphic artist for a sign co. i am wnting to make lables that are high quality and very affordable for gbfans but …i am trying to make labels for pack, gun, goggles, trap, and i have come to realize alot of the layouts i have been using are diffrent sizes. is there one that is the most accurate. to me “normans” seems the best but i need a lil help.

its been done already, just use those.

i just saw them on ebay for about 25 bucks and i can make them on foil for about 5. but hey thanx for sounding like an a$$ anyway. i was just looking for some insight.

Ken’s label master is GREAT but has some issues, the biggest one being one of the Clippards is totally wrong, and the fact his sheets do no account for the metallic or mirrored labels…

Curious would your’s be die cut for that $5 price?

You asked for 1:1 and I promptly provided you with the necessary information. I wasn’t trying to act like an ass, please forgive my punctual statements.

mine wouldnt be on a piece on metal but on a metalic foil vinyl (kind of like thick alum. foil feel). to put the ones that need it on metal it would be a little more but i am still looking into it.. but they will still be as accurate as possible.

Well, count me in even if that $5 is not including shipping. I’m going to need some very soon.

Thanks!

PS: I’m a graphic artist too, but we don’t have a plotter here at work… :frowning:

I looked into doing this for the community becasue there are some products out there that are good, but I was thinking super professional. Good adhesives, nice thickness, top quality ink and having the label laminated with a UV protection so it would not fade. Setting all that up with the proper stock, and die was expensive.

I looked at various printing companies and put out some bids, and the minimum I could get printed would be 250. The startup costs were HUGE including the die to have the labels cut. I would need to sell at least 100 labels for about $20 just to break even. While the labels woudl have been amazing I just dont know if there is a market for 100 labels, let alone 250. There are cheap / free alternatives out there such as Ken’s labels and the people on E-Bay who have already done what I was thinking of doing just not at the same quality. Those E-Bay labels are nice and they are selling them for $25 plus shipping.

Now, if you could duplicate and improve on those.. having them die cut and printed on foil, laminated with a UV protection then you’d be our hero. Not being in the printing business it jsut wasnt going to be cost effective for me to do this, but if you’re in the industry and you can pull it off for cheap we’d all welcome the opportunity to buy.

that is basicly how i am doing it. i am using uv solvent inks on a 1200dpi digital media printer. laminating them and the ones that require it will be on foil. as for putting them on actual alum. blanks i am still looking into. i should find out more this week from one of our vendors. but i can still beat everyones price, we are a very large co. so we get a huge discount on our merch. also i am doing this for all the gb fans, most of the others i have found who do this are out to make a few buck, i am doing this at cost. but i will let every one know and keep updates about it. but everyone who wants a set keep letting me know the more people i have wanting them the cheaper i can make them for.

I’d be down for a set of them as well.
