I bought that book on eBay a few years back, mine has a different cover picture. I didn’t think it was weirdly written though it did add some scenes that weren’t in any of the scripts or comic book or the movie. It also deviates from facts we see in the pictures. I won’t bother going into details, a lot is GB II common knowledge.
Yeah it did, but I think that was mostly to round out the scene breaks in the movie. I still have to finish it, mostly I’ve been scanning through. I might just sell it.
wow, its not hard to tell the photo was just pieced together and not a posed or staged photo; but i never noticed just how bad of job they did on it until now, guess i never really looked that closely. but look how much shorter winston is compared to the rest of them.
I have the same book. Got it for 99 cents about 7 years ago a a Value Village. It’s not a bad read, I enjoy the insight it gives to the deleted scenes as well as the sub plots of Slimer trying to be caught by louis, and Ray being under Vigo’s spell.
I don’t know if I ever read the novel for this, but the novel for Ghostbusters was really awesome… If I recall correctly, it had the honeymooner’s scene, and a scene involving Ray and Peter reminiscing about being at a picnic (I can’t remember fully, but I think Venkman hooked up with Ray’s sister or something).
And it has the original scene with Ray and his encounter with the female ghost. I love the Ghostbusters novel. Now I’m going to track down the GB2 novel.
