So, who’s interested in going along?

I’m certainly interested, financials permitting. In addition to getting my latest fix of The Zombies Ate My Chilean, I’m also eager in getting artist Paul Duffield to sign a copy of Freakangels.

Not sure yet whether I’ll be in costume if I am there… the end of October gives me two months or so even when factoring a annoying paperwork-based issue that has to be handed in the second week of September, but we’ll see how the build work progresses.

I think that the Early Entry tickets are definitely the way to go in terms of entry to the event. This year they’re priced at £13 (or £14 plus the bookiing fee).

The TV guests are still a little light on the ground at this moment in time, but some interesting ones should hopefully show up by the start of October.

So, even if I’m unable to attend, who else is planning too?

Plent of room to move about wearing your pack in the hall leading up to the entrance plus out side (weather permitting)

Pre buying a ticket is definatly the way forward after I qued for half hour last time :cool:

I drove to the last one.

Easy to get to and parking under the event.

Changed into my gear straight out of the boot of my car :smiley:

May even go Saturday and Sunday if enough people are going.

Just wanted to know if any of the local Manchester guys/girls are going down to this, because we could all organise something im sure like traveling & sharing expensives

You should have your pack finished by then!!! There surely can only be a few hours work left on it by now? Im not gonna give up on this… I put in too many hours on that thing to not see it finished!!!

I imagine we will be at Expo, hopefully with a Giger too :smiley:

We have some bad memories of the Oct expo though…

I’m hopeful, I got a email from Flynn a few days ago stating that the bumper I’d purchased (which had put things on hold) had been dispatched, and as I speak some metal Alkon straights and Elbows are on their way, so I’m confident the Pack and Goggles will be finished for MCM in October. :slight_smile:

Well we had pretty much ended the day and were heading out for the Sat night in full gear when a member of the party (not one of the elite) had an epileptic fit.

Just ended our plans to have a good time really…

Its all fien now though…

As reluctant as I am to say it, I may have to miss this month’s MCM Expo due to my current financial situation.

Looks like im going to be with Kingpin here, wanted to get to at least one convention this year but this year has been hard with money, saving for a wedding does that to you & with me getting hitched in Januray cutting it so close financially is going to be so difficult!

I think im best starting afresh next year once i get my money situation back on track, sorry guys…besides gives me chance to look for a Ghost trap before the new season of conventions
