Has anyone ever seen the mickey mouse cartoon Lonesome Ghosts? do you think that this cartoon might have had an influence on the making of ghostbusters? i know there really isnt anything that they took equipment or plot from the cartoon, but maybe the idea of ghost exterminating? or is it just a weird connection i had in my head?
I love That Cartoon its Awesome.And yeah i think it was big inspiration for ghostbusters because that cartoon was the first supernatural comedy even before the 70’s ghostbusters.I think the old disney cartoons are allot funnier and it had substance and great art.
i agree. but most new cartoons have nothing on the older ones.
Omg, I forgot about this one. I used to watch it when I was a kid and I believe my mom taped it for me. If anyone knows where to find it nowadays, please post some ideas.

well either way its a great cartoon. for some reason i thought as a kid watching that cartoon the ghostbusters theme music would play after they got the call. maybe it was my imagination playing tricks on me. or maybe disney was trying to leech off ghostbusters sucess and made like a remix of the cartoon. :whatever:
I remember that too.They did do that but i think it was just clips of the cartoon not the whole thing

I agree. the only new cartoon that i have seen lately is the new ninja turtles cartoon. and its good cuz its closer to the comic book.
