Alright, before anything else I am hoping I can get the answers I need about making a pack. Reason being It’s going to be me and my father’s project for this summer. I haven’t seen him for 3 years and he even missed my 16th birthday last year. He’s a big fan of ghost busters and me and I am planning on making him a proton pack for a present.
My questions are
Does anyone have easy schematics for a proton pack?
The best and most detailed plans are found right here in the reference section, you want to use Stefan’s plans for the most accurate measurements. If you are looking for ease of use go for Norm’s. Aside from that I will say that your best option is to read the forum thuroughly and use the search function. Give people time to answer your questions, because, and no offence intended, most of the guys that have been here for any length of time get a little tired of feilding the exact question you just asked 7 times a week.
The majority of noobs ask exactly what you did when the answer has been given on 5 seperate occasions in 5 seperate theads that are usually a post apart from one another. Reading will reveal this quite quickly, and if you stick arround you will see first hand what I mean.
That aside, Welcome to the board, you’ll find most people very willing to help you along the way with your project. Good luck.

keep in mind that i have been buying kits and parts from people. my entire pack is a combination of whatever kind of plastic used in the vac forming, pvc, resin, fiberglass, real parts (brass elbows), and some wood (mainly the motherboard and the end piece of the ion knob). i did an estimated total cost in excel, and so far im at $625. and that not a final total either. but there are less expensive routes to take then what i did
Sorry, I didn’t mean to sound I was coming down on you, that wasn’t my intent. And I certainly don’t want to discourage you from hanging around on the forum. I was just saying that a little research can go a long way. There are a lot of helpful people here to give you a hand and advice, myself included. Again, sorry if I came across as harsh.
