I am having a bit of a problem with my proton pack. I purchased the light and sound kit off of GBfans and it’s been working great until recently. When I turn it on, the power-up sound is very choppy and is the same when powering off. Could this be a problem with the speaker or the kits themselves? I am not a tech savvy person, I would appreciate any advice on which direction to head. Thanks!
on another note, I am also looking for ideas on how to secure the proton pack onto the ALICE frame. The method I use is not working well and if you guys have any pics on how you attached yours, I would also be grateful to see.
What voltage are you running? I know with mine I was only running 9V and when I would turn the sound up too much it would get choppy too. I fixed it by moving up to 12V. Hope that helps.
Can you snap a picture of how you are wired from your power source (with the appropriate voltages etc) to the board?
I can explain why I had issues. For one, I had a poor electrical setup, that I changed with soldered wires. If you have a loose connection for power at any point in the loop you may have an intermittent issue.
