Minimates don’t require likeness rights because they’re caricatures. They only represent the characters, not the actors who portrayed those characters.
Since he wore Egon’s suit in GB2, I’m sure someone out there will make a custom one with the GB1 louis coming out!!

I’d say so. GB suit Louis would have to be an all new body sculpt. I would be all for it, just as long as he would come with Bus Driver Slimer and a half eaten lunch.

The only thing I can think of that they would take a crack at would be a trap. The goggles would be cool but I don’t think they would be as recognizable a product for them to market. A trap seems like it would be damn expensive though.

Any more expensive then the ones we make accurately? I think mass-produced traps can easily sell for $60-$80.
like i said in another thread. i think that they will do two louis tully figures. one with him from the first film and one from the second film with proton pack and suit.

That’s not going to be in the subscription, and will be an additional figure. So there’s really 8 figures this year, and one of them is an SDCC exclusive. Convention exclusives are not included in the subscription.
I wonder what it could be, and I’m gonna need to find a way to grab 2 of them.

there’re a couple of things I don’t understand.
first:
the gb2 12" peter+winston will have gb2 gears, of course, but should we expect winston to wear a slime blower in scale? I guess they will be in the 100+ dollars range, right?

Are the retro action rgb toysRus exclusive like the gbII holiday pack?
third:
The Marshmellow Ray in march will be a club ecto-one exclusive, menaing we mere mortals won’t get the chance to buy it ever?
Or are they going to sell it like courtroom PV who I understand was indeed a CECTO1 exclusive?

Marshmallow Ray is the Club Exclusive figure, the only Club Exclusive figure. And no, he will not be available for individual sale to “mere mortals” as you call it. He is the reward for enrolling in the subscription and purchasing one of every figure. Your chance to buy it was your chance to buy a subscription.
Courtroom Peter was not a Club Ecto-1 Exclusive. He was a Club Ecto-1 figure, meaning he was included in the subscription.
