I just got my matty neutrino wand and the vibration motor is louder than the the sound speaker. Is anyone anyone else noticing?
the vibration is awesome and a great feature to have and after building two complete hero packs, full deal lights and sound. I of course use small vibration motors with of set weights, but i guess the sound was much louder coming from the a 200 watt back pack.
so if anyone wants to comment or has a suggestion, I would appreciate any comments or suggestions.
I think it roughly the same for every wand. I got one also. The vibration motor is loud but that was expected after watching mostly all the videos I could find befor these were shipped to the general public. I do wonder tho about possibly switching the vibration moto out for one out of a gam controller. Would it be less quiet? Hopefully someone opens up one of these guns to find out how the inside looks.
I know in one of my wands it sounds like the motor is slightly “loose” or whatever, but I dont really feel up to taking it apart to find out and its not that huge a deal to me honestly. Also could just be because this thing was thrown together in so many parts that one part isnt as tightly fit together/glued down as the rest of it somewhere. Either way, really mostly for my display purposes and some mild entertainment, my siblings and I played with them a bit over christmas. If I wanted to do costuming or something I would build a better wand with parts from the guys here =p.
