Met Mr. Aykroyd yesterday! Added to my collection

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Dan Aykroyd at his signing in Charlotte yesterday. He was such a cool guy and I was able to get my GB DVD set and my Stay Puft bank signed along with the Crystal Head vodka bottle. Below is a transcript of our brief yet meaningful conversation.

Me: Mr. Aykroyd thank you so much for hanging out this afternoon.

Dan: No problem

(I got behind the table for a picture)

Me: Dan, we have to get Ghostbusters 3 done, please tell me it’s going to happen.

Dan: We are trying, but it’s got to be perfect.

Me: Well I think everyone will wait for perfection.

Dan: Well I like your attitude!

I than got my picture and shook his hand and that was it! Great experience and I was near the front of the line so I didn’t have to wait too long. If you get the chance to go to a signing I highly reccomend it!

Did they have any GB pictures there that you could buy to have him sign?

No, they didn’t have any photos or anything, just massive amounts of Crystal Head vodka.

I was there too. First time I ever meet him. Got my skull autographed. I wish I had something personal to have signed.

It’s really great to hear that he’s such a nice guy. I’ve been to a few conventions and it’s amazing how many celebraties are jerks! I’d really like to meet him, as well as Ernie Hudson who i hear is also a clas act!
