Hi people, I have a quick question for you. I bought the kit on ebay from MMM gun. MMM and it has sent on 06.08.2011. Today is 07/19/2011 and the package is not still there. I know it was a postal strike in Canada. Can you tell me maybe from experience how long does a package from Canada to Germany? I’m waiting like a little kid out but with no tracking number, it is difficult to say something about it.

As I’ve said in all our communications Manuel it is likely delayed from the postal strike and the glut of packages will need to be cleared up, usually under normal circumstances a parcel will arrive in Europe with 7-10 days, realistically 14 days depending on customs. Your parcel was mailed on the 8th and is in TRANSIT, like I said without a tracking # they cannot locate it and you just need to wait patiently for it to arrive, this is unfortunate and beyond my control. I have sent many parcels to Germany with no problems in the past. From now on no parcels will be sent to Germany without a tracking # to avoid this kind of issue.

International shipping takes a while to begin with, with the postal strike I don’t think some extra time is unreasonable. I’ve ordered stuff from Colin before and it always made it here. I don’t think you have anything to worry about.
Ive bought from Colin a few times and i would also say 14 days is what it usually takes. But since there was this strike i wouldnt worry too much about it, of course it can take longer then. Back in 2007 i bought somehing from another seller in canada and it took 3 months to arrive (!), no clue what was going on there but it was shipped on the day he said it was, lol
I shipped some stuff to germany about 5 weeks ago and it still hasnt arrived.. Sometimes you just never know when your dealing with customs. We are all at the mercy of them… Its also possible they return shipped it and it just hasnt arrived back to canada. Worst case scenerio is that its lost
Colin Yes you’re right. If I gewust the same then I would pay the 30 USD more. so I would have had no problems. I’ve looked on the Internet since before there even Kahm times, which was a package from Canada to Germany two months on the road. So wait wait wait. I hate waiting
I know Manuel when you’re anxious to get started on something waiting is like an eternity. I really wish i could do more to speed it along.
I would recommend to any overseas buyers to spend a bit more and get Expresspost with tracking # and insurance which quotes a delivery date (usually 5-6 businessdays) , if it goes one day over and they can’t locate it they will pay out a claim and it can be re- sent, with the small packet Airmail it is required to wait 90 days before they consider it lost and a claim can be filed.
Lets hope it arrives soon.

Update: The package finally arrived yesterday after almost two months floating around in the postal system.The package was an unlucky casualty of the Canada post strike. Glad it finally arrived Manuel.

Maniac221 can I offer a strong suggestion, that if you have not sent money to Colin, and you have in your hands any product of his - you settle your account with him immediately. You do not want a mark against your name like this. ESPECIALLY if Colin was good enough to refund your money while the package was in transit.
