I’m getting ready to do a Kenner RGB Trap re-paint, which I’ll be starting a separate thread to document my progress, but I was looking ahead over the weekend at attaching it to my uniform. One of the relatively standard options for Traps in general is a holster similar to the ones that MultiMediaMeyhem offers in his web-store (HERE).
Now, when my trap arrived in the mail, I realized how much smaller in scale everything was to what was expecting. It’s not that big of a deal for me, but I was hoping to get some feedback on a few things that popped into my head. My questions now are two-fold:
Firstly, does anyone have any experience in comparing the Kenner RGB Trap against the regular sized Trap-holster? Does the Trap look silly resting in the holster because it is smaller than it should be?
Secondly, does anyone know if the v-hooks would obstruct the roll of the wheels on the bottom of the Kenner Trap?
Any tips you guys have from experience would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Mav - I’ve read through your repaint thread a few times leading up to my own start, and its definitely one of my favorites. I especially love the high-pressure metal coupling connecting the hose on yours. I’d love to see what you were using for your holster. Right now, I think my back-up is to just coil the hose and connect everything to my belt with a carabiner-style clip.
