My Daughter is a Ghost Head!!!

Hello again, everyone! I say “again” because I had an account here years ago that I posted some fanfic and a picture of a custom pack I built under. That was 10 years ago! I was still called Uncle Sirus back then, too! Any who, now I’m 31 and have a 2yo daughter who is super into GB just like her daddy!

Next Halloween, me, my daughter and my wife are all going as Ghostbusters and I finally get to build some decent packs. My wife and daughter are going as GB16 characters and I’ll be Ray from RGB. I was really hoping for some tips, tricks and any advice for building packs for a noob especially for building a pack for a 3yo.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Isn’t it great?

Welcome back. I’d look under “Equipment” for plans and how-to’s.

I built my recent pack for Halloween using mostly cardboard and recycled materials from home.

There are also some build threads for kid-sized packs. I’d start there and search the site a bit.

Not too many GB16 packs have been built, but there are a few that were built rather quickly. best of luck and don’t be afraid to ask around the site and also start a build thread when you’re ready to get at it. You can get a lot more feedback if you do and it will help you out a lot.

The kids are adorable. I can see the eldest is pointing out important safety tips to the youngest.

(Or is it the other way around?)

Where on Earth did you get flight suits that size?

eBay… they’re made by Rothco… if you get the black one, you can bleach the heck out of it to a very light gray-ish color and dye it whatever color you wish…

Alright so I decided to do a Kenner repainted. I want to make it a realistic looking RGB pack and she’ll have a colorful jumpsuit. I’ve seen lots of Kenner packs here and they’re all great. Anyone have any ideas or tips for me? I start my builds in Jan so I’ll start the build threads too.

The next generation
