My Dollar Store Ghost Trap & Proton Grenades - PARTS LIST P2

The goo is supposed to be ecto-plasm that is part of the grenade or what powers it. It’s actually black-light sensitive too that I discovered while filming with a friend today. I think I will leave it, especially after I burned my finger while make them :stuck_out_tongue:

Pedal? I have thought of it, but I dont have any plans for one at the moment. I have an old guitar pedal around here someplace, but for now I think Im full of props to be making more.

Post that pic, Im interested.

I can’t help but feel really, really bad for this guy. If you’ve ever been stuck with a Halloween costume that didn’t turn out like you hoped, this will be a painful thread to read.

As for the Dollar Store ghost trap, thumbs up! Very nice work on a very nice budget.

hey can you do a piece/price list like you did for the proton pack?

That is really friggen cool!

oh, ok, thanks for clarifying! : )

The wonders of hot-glue never cease to amaze me.

Is this something you still would like, given the picture above that has the parts layed out?

if you don’t mind, just as a vague understanding

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!

Dig the custom trap dude! Plus the slime blower is really pretty awesome!

When i first read the topic, i thought to my self ¨¨Oh, no, another cheap looking trap¨¨ Today i decided to get inside and read, and OMG, i love it. Looks great , i love it. Would like to see a tutorial.

You are creative and visionary my friend. Loved it.

Sal

Hah thanks! What a good way to start a Friday and end the week as I just woke up and read this. I will work on a tutorial somehow. If anything I will at least do a piece breakdown like I did the Proton Pack and Slime Blowers. If Im going to spend my time on making something, I wont let it look cheap

Suuuuuuu-perb job!! Great Creativity!!! Easy to tell it’s a GB trap, well done, welllll done!!!

What i would add to make it look perfect is the base that holds the wheels.. That´s the only thing that i thinck its missing… It´ll make it look taller. I really really like it, will try to build one for sure.

Sal

I originally used the bottom base of the toy truck for wheels, which worked fine. But then I came across some 1 1/4" caster wheels that the trap now has attached via velcro; which works out nice because they can simply be pulled off if not needed or get in the way.

I’ve been a little lazy on this. Sorries. What part are you stuck on?

Sorry for the thread necromancy… but without necromancers, the boys would be out of jobs…

Anyway, I as well would like a listing of the objects used. I could make out some things in the photo, but others were hard to see (I don’t have one of those fancy, new-fangled high def computer monitors… mine’s from a 95 Gateway lol). While I won’t have this done ofr Hallow’s Eve and will be going as Marshmallow Man again, I will have it done for Comicon San Diego next year  My main problem is price. You’ve fixed that for me. Don’t worry, I have no plans of copying your work exactly. I’m going to customize mine a bit. I think I’ll make my own thrower.

I loved your proton pack, car, and slime blower. You’re really amazing.

I’m wondering what the handle goes to? Also, it looks like the parts pic has a box with led lights in it. (LED and something illegible)

Maybe you could post that image larger on photobucket or some such?

The handle is from a dollar store tire shine applicator that was cut apart and then just bolted onto the white box. See if this new graphic helps any.
