Yup, jus a few little optional bits not from a dollar store. The Proton Pack is the same way. The light is a little kit from Radio Shack that does blink. I think it was $4. The tape can be found via the internet or places/stores that sell “Warning” supplies and signs. I’ve even seen it a few times at places that sell hospital supplies. It was just left over from my Ecto Mobile so I used it on the Trap.
Cool.. think I’ll have to go the painted yellow striped with electric tape method for the warning tape.
I pick up stuff for my own granades yesterday.. 3/4 " pvc pipe (10 feet for $4), some 34 cent parts to plug into the ends, eyelets for the “pulls”, and I picked up a bag of various key rings at walmart yesterday to make the eyelets look more like real pulls (finger sized)
I’m toying with either the screw belt attachement method, or coming up with some hook for them so they can hang from the belt and be removed.
Oh! For tops to them, red walmart 2 liter cola bottle caps can’t be beat!
Thanks.. beyond this, I’m also going to make up some warning labels for them as well. Plus I noticed we assembled one upside down, so the top edge of the pvc needs painting. I also ned to add silver weathering to them as well, and might add some blackwash “staining”.
at first i was like whoa…how affordable…then I remembered that mine cost $0 …at this point, i suppose I should be laughing all the way to the bank. anyways—nice trap big guy.
I love the grenades, with the goo on the outside which makes them not only look “homebrew” but makes them look awesome!
I like the idea of a small trap too, its like a trap you might use for smaller ghosts.. small free roaming vapors, and save the regular size trap for the big baddies
Ya… I apparently went over my monthly bandwidth limit due to my life-size Shuttlecraft. I tried to get my ISP to reset my limit since Ive been a customer for 14 years, but they wont do it. Im slowly moving my stuff to PhotoBucket, so my pics wont be up until at least Thursday…
