I have to thank Brady for posting his dollar store pack because without that post I wouldn’t have my own pack. I know it’s not completely movie accurate but I am happy with it.
This is my pack lit up
This is my particle thrower its made essentially out of broken nunchuckus and tupawear.
To get it to light up I found these white LED lights at Target they were 2 for $2.99 and I colored them in with a red magic marker. But they dont have switches so I need to pull tabs out of them to get them to light up. So I needed to make those parts of my pack accessable.
Also here a ghost trap I made out of a index card box
And I made my ALICE pack out of a old back pack and hockey sticks.
I commend your efforts and use of materials, well done! Great to see people actually building their own stuff instead of buying everything pre-made. Kudos!

thanks, I saw the first dollar store pack thread and just ran out to the nearest dollar tree and made it. I started construction on it a week ago today and wore it out to a party saturday night. Its my last minute pack. this was my first try at a proton pack, and I did it in that time spand in between classes and work, so I bet some people on this site could make it in a day, I only consider myself a beginner at prop making.
Very very nice. Your ghost trap is exceptional!

Are you taking orders? If so, sign me up! I need a sweet proton pack for my particle thrower! The whole thing is awesome, man! The nice part about that pack is it looks fairly durable, but it wasn’t too expensive, so it’s perfect for clubs where too many people can spell disaster. Thanks for all the pics, and keep up the awesome creativity!
It’s fairly sturdy. The thrower is the weakest point of it, because its made out of nunckukus and a thin plastic container. When I first put it together the handle and the barrell where coming apart because they weren’t connected. So a left over piece of hockey stick was wedged between them and zip tied together. to make it more sturdy. (I’ll post pics of the inside of it later today) and the handle nunchuku was snapped in half and the glue wasnt holding. so I used metal ties and nails to brace it together and tape was thrown on to cover it up and that why the two metal ties are on the handle for. The thrower is pretty sturdy now.
There were things I needed to eliminate too. The bumper wouldnt stay on with the detachable bowl. So that needed to go, thats why its rough looking where the bumper is supposed to be.
I don’t know the pack looks decent considering the whole thing was under $25. $7 being paint, I bought the fancy stuff by accident.
Here’s those pics of the problems I just mentioned with the thrower.

Looks great! Fun too eh? Making things is always more fun and better then buying everything pre-made I think! I see measuring cups on there too!
Oh yeah, those are Grade A Dollar Store measuring cups. Yeah it was pretty fun to make esp after spray painting it. It went from a bunch of ■■■■ glued onto wood to a proton pack in seconds.
