Got my parts, just need to start. Thinking black with silver dials, and maybe some labels if I can find them. Going to use pop bottle caps for the dials, and a beer bottle cap for the battery cover. They aren’t pictured because they aren’t empty yet hehe.
You mean, the whole goggles black? Nooooo. Either keep the body of it the original green or hit it with some olive drab vinyl spraypaint. Black won’t look too great and will blend in with your head. Try to match the movie since you want to emulate that with the style of your pack.
But hey, nice start! I used this route too when I first got started.
Great start and I agree with Vee, consider the color contrast. Let me know if you happen to find a source for any labels/stickers. I can’t seem to find anyone making the BAT/Fuse Warning stickers so I may just have to print my own. If I do, I may make some extra sets for fellow Ghostheads since there doesn’t seem to be as much goggle support out there as other parts.
Used in 2 episodes it looks like, both times in the dark so they came out..well…dark. Only assumptions can be made that their more like the RGB goggles, but I’m going to just go movie colors because their design didn’t change
Speaking of which, while I was looking it up I noticed something… the EGB Ecto-1 looks like it was a station wagon modded to LOOK like Ecto-1, like they had to upgrade their car for whatever reason, and modified it to make it look like the old car somewhat for “brand loyalty”
