fine, i see your point, but understand this, i am a person posting, and i do have feelings and temper for some things… like when i am called names for something stupid.
i consider my posts when i post, but it peeve me when people read them as something negative (see above post).

Finally got finished with the Ghost Trap and “Phanny” pack. Got the other items for the uniform on the way, hopefully it will not take another month to finish. As for Kylie’s wetsuit thing, I always thought it was those form fitting gym shorts and underarmor like t-shirt. Is it really a diving suit? Regardless, I’ll be sticking with the shorts and t-shirt idea as it’s cheaper then a wetsuit. I have also started on an Eduardo uniform as well. I’ll make a new topic for that once the parts get in.

As far as her suit…there is no real way to tell as it is a cartoon probably a few things her stuff could be like.

as for kylies suit… i dont know, but it does kind of look like a wetsuit during the times you see her without her orange chest armor/trap holder… but who can really say for sure, like spooky up there said if i remember, “there is no real way to know for sure”.
it allways seemed to change appearances.
personally i allways thought it was a wetsuit… or in egons case if he ever spoke about it “an ectoplasimic resistance polymer suit”… and maybye someone would pull a peter and call it something understndible for others who are not GB’s.
It’s probably something more like a leotard than a wetsuit.
Her shorts look exactly like roller balding shorts from back then. Add a lyca stretch top, and knee pads and boots, and all you need are the belt and armor, which could be football pads painted with krylon fusion.

Remembering that the show was during the early 90’s it probably was just lycra pants or capris and similar top. Exercise wear was very popular back then. Like you said it would be cheaper and also a lot more comfortable to move around in with all your gear on. Kinda like how some people don’t use the actualy Nomex suits because of cost and comfort.

I’ve got the elbow and kneepads done. Got the black web pistol belt. Got the armor done. Gloves done.
Now I just need some combat boots and some key fobs and Kylie’s costume will be completed.
Combat boots are next and then I’m done.
Won’t ya need a black n purple wig?

Heh, heh. No. I’m not working on a gender bent costume or anything.
Although. I could easily see Kylie’s EGB outfit being used by a guy on the team (sans form fitting shorts). It would be nearly indistinguishable from a design point of view, especially if used by Roland. He’d be like a quarterback ghostbuster or something, if that were the case.
I’m just working on EGB props and giving the series love. I plan on getting an EGB posse together this year (hopefully) and taking some pictures with all the stuff.
All I need for this to work out is: a black guy, a Goth Asian chick, a muscular ginger dude, and a goateed Mexican.
It could work.

Oh and the props/costume look great so far, really true to the source material.
It’d be interesting to see someone tackle the design of the XGB gear but with the color-scheme and general aesthetic treatment of the movie packs.
Theres actually a thread on here that does just that. Check out Dark Spectre’s EGB movie hybrid. Its awesome! I’m also planning on doing something similar since I am working on a budget and have nowhere to even try to build something like an accurate pack.
