Should be in fan art, but its pretty darn good.
I think its always a good idea to look in the same direction as you are pointing the thrower, gives the look that you are looking here the beams are heading.

Looks awesome. Is there anyway to get some kind of reflective lighting effect from the beam on surrounding objects? I think that’s what would make it look 100%
Good idea! I’ve put some blue reflecting light on myself and also a reflection of the beam in the Jaws picture
