Here is my first pack. My dad and I built it over about a month working on it bit by bit. I know its not perfect, but I think it turned out rather well seeing how neither him or I are carpenters.
The clipper valve on the pack was a quick make, I am going to be replacing that with a resin replica.
I am going to be buying a light kit for the proton gun and shorting the barrel.
There are lights in the cyclotron, but I don’t like the lens we made. We used red tail light tape and the tape has gotten all wrinkly and does not look good at all. So I am trying to find good alternatives any suggestions are great.
I will be repainting the pack and adding some battle damage and fixing some of the bad brush strokes.

I will be making a trap. I ran out of money and time. I also am a pretty skinny Ghostbuster so I have problems fitting all the things they did on the best. So I had to trim down on the accessories.
My name tag is too big due to my large last name. So I am going to have do adjust that some how possibly just trimming it a bit on the slides the top and bottom.
I will post more pictures when I am on x-mas break and have time to take them.
you mentioned the cyclo light covers are not so hot anymore? try flashlight lenses. you can get a replacement kit from the surplus store for a few bucks. they come with a few more lenses than you need, but they give perfect red ones.
also, you could try a gb2 style nametag, those are a fair amount smaller then the gb1 style.
For a great lens look just get youself some mailbox reflectors from the local hardware store. They come in a pack with red, blue, orange, grene, and clear reflectors.
They’re the perfect size to fit in the washers you might use on you cyclotron. They look so good, even if they don’t fit your washers (I suggest Nylon washers) it’s worth making NEW circles to put the reflectors in because they look so good with a light behiind them or in a camera flash.
And if you do a game pack you can get green or blue ones in there! Or if you get really crazy and put multiple colored LED’s for each “mode” you can put the clear ones so the colors you set it at come through.

Fixing that barrel would go a LOOOONG way. Clear tubing isnt’ too hard or expensive to come by. I actually used a clear cap from a hairspray bottle before finally ordering an acrylic tube. Is that 1" pvc you used?
Regarding th name patch, my last name is LANGLINAIS and I still was able to get it onto a patch looking well. They just use skinner letters to get it all in there. How long is yours?
