Hello,

I’ll try to get video of it all operating soon as I can with the hose and connectors.

very nice! very clean and new looking. i also like the slighty different resistor and dials, makes it look like an updated design.

Looks good, what did you use for your pedal plunger?

Yes good job and I would like to know about the pedal bellow as well

It looks like it’s one of those black plungers.

What is that pedal made from? That looks just like a bigger version of the heat sink I bought for my trap. Is that one of those standarized aluminum frame parts like I see sometimes for building machines and things for industry, that slot together? Cause I notice what appear to be slots for rods to go through.

That’s pretty pro, man!

The bellows was made out of something I had lying around, I’ve accuired so much stuff over the years I am trying to figure out where I got it from. The pedal and the heat sinks are in fact Vector plate Frame-Lock Rail just as the original. I hope to have the vid up tomarrow. The trap is air acctuated through the pedal and the rest is electric so you can disconnect the hose.

These words, they make no sense to me. Vector plate frame lock rail doesn’t seem to bring up any promising leads in google. Is Vector the name of a company? Is “frame lock rail” something a search should find sources for, because I can’t seem to find any.

This is the stuff I was thinking of. I don’t know yet if this is the generic name for it:

Yes the brand is vector.

Ugh, what a terrible name. How am I supposed to google search that? :frowning:

Aha! I went to the ghost trap page, and it’s Vector Frame-Loc, not Frame Lock.

And that led me right to this:

http://parts.digikey.com/1/parts/1578112-rail-frame-loc-3-x10-aluminum-sr3-10-00.html

Which I don’t know is the right part, but that linked to this:

Which I’m guessing is the right corporation at least.

So the company name is Vector Electronics and Technology Inc.

Actually, that looks like it might be the right stuff after all. Though I dunno if it’s the right size. But the PDF link on the page has photos and it looks the same. Unfortunately that particular place doesn’t stock it. I wonder if Mouser does…

[edit]

Aaand… They don’t. And I just found out Stephan’s plans have the part number and the URL of that vector corporation. Why don’t folks volunteer this information before I run myself ragged searching for it.?
