So I ordered a flightsuit online, and it fits across the chest well, but I’m 6’ 2" and it is very tight over my shoulders and binds up my crotch a bit. The place is letting me exchange it, I got an XL from them the first go around. Question to the tall ghostbusters out there - should I get an XXL or XXXL? (6’2" and 235 lbs, about a 48" chest)
I recommend a long suit if your 6’ or taller.
XL Long in a tru-spec. I’m 6’7" and I had a tru-spec 2XL Long and then I just invested in ripstop fabric and had one made.

I suggest checking around ebay or any surplus stores near you for a nomex. Im 6’4 and I started out with a truspec as well so I feel your pain. Nomex is the only suit I can be comfortable in.

I’m 5’ 11", 190lbs, I felt the the flight suit I purchased off of GB Fans was a bit too snug in the junk.
I purchased a Tru-spec XL Long from uscav.com for $38.00. Fits great.

I have the same issue plus I always flood like the leveys broke, either it fits the chest well and I flood at the ankles and arms are short or it fits the legs and arms and I’m in a big bag. I may just go to Gibson and barnes and get a custom.

Long sized Nomex’s pop up every now and then on ebay, guess it depends on what chest size you are. Im a 42 in the chest and those are fairly easy to get a hold of. I have two 42’s and one 44. I prefer the 44 because of the baggy look in the movies but the larger chest sizes are a little difficult to find on ebay for cheap. Luckily I’ve never had to pay more than $50 for a new one.

You can try to order from Galls or another retailer with a return policy. Or look for some in some army surplus stores.
I had a problem with the XXXL tru-spec being too tight in the crotch (but I’m over 6’2" and around 400lbs) so I added a patch in the crotch and it fits great now. I have no sewing experience at all and it turned out alright. I’m sure someone with experience or a tailor could do it easily.
Dude, I had the same problems, could not find one that fit especially in the crotch, I tried 2 on and sent them back.
I am 6’3" and I am custom ordering my from Gibson and Barnes. They have a order form online, you just need to give them your measurements (they also have directions for that as well).

I’m 6’1 250lb and wear a 48 long dress jacket. I have a nomex XXL and it fits me perfect. Hope that info helps.
I had a weird issue. I’m 6’2 185 lbs. Got a Tru-Spec Medium Long, which was still short since I have a 34 inseam but it didn’t matter much since I planed to tuck them into the boots. Anyway the problem was a really weird bagginess around the hips. The rest fit well but the area around the hips was HUGE.
IM 5"10, with a belly, any suggestions?
