All plexi glass and aluminum construction, Big thanks to loveusmokey for the booster frame and bumper. I have the proper clippard fittings on the way and I’ll be starting on the gun soon. The clippard valve is real and I made it functional to the power cell lights, hope the video works even though it’s dark. Having trouble with that damb sticker! lots of work lots of fun!
looks great, nice vid. the only thing i would like to comment on is your paint job. im not sure how or what you used, but the paint appears to have a lot of texture to it. it doesnt have the smooth look as it should. but if that is what you were going for or dont mind the look, then the hell with what i said and we’ll keep it at it looks great. oh, by the way. do you have any production pics? just curious. i wish i would have taken some of my second pack… owell, too late now
I really like the texture.
:crunch: for unusualness!
looks good, the paint texture makes it look like it is cast iron.
what the hell did you put on the paint sand O.o
Looks good man!
For the paint I used a crinkle finish, alot of military and aviation equipment used it over the aluminium frames. Asuming that Egon and Ray used many spare parts to build the packs because of limited funds I thought it was a nice touch. It really adds to the effect that everything is made of aluminium.
um no it dosent it looks like you beat with a hammer :walterpeck: fail
You and I appear to have different definitions of ‘beat with a hammer.’ I think it looks great. It definitaly stands out and looks good, too.
The pack looks great, though I must admit I am not a big fan of the finish. Looks like you painted it with Line-X. But as long as you are happy with it. ![]()
