my personal opinion, which means jack

The largest challenge facing the 4 new recruits/actors, besides the fact that they’re going to be facing a firing squad of 200,000 nerds holding positron gliders, is going to be the repartee that they have with eachother. THAT’s what made the first movie work so well. Ramis, Akroyd, and Murray were all master improvers hailing from second city(?) and they could play off of each other. Hell, half or more of the first movie was improved dialogue.

Of Course they’re not gonna be the same, and the only way the fanboys are going to accept that is if they make us love their characters interactions as much as we loved the originals. They have to make it their own. And I don’t think it’s going to work if the script is strictly structured…but who knows, maybe Akroyd and Ramis’ script is brilliant…

just a note: it’s positron colliders

ahem…positron collider.
