I see you replaced the handle (with PVC, I would guess). Good call. Personally, I always thought the original handle on the toy looked kinda silly. Nice pedal, too, though I think you oughta add the strips to it; it wouldn’t be too hard. Just use strips of 1/16" styrene; they’d be plenty flexible. Does the pedal work?
well i add the pvc cause the original one was missing :oops: some one else suggested adding strips too but i havent got around to it. as for the pedal working. it sure does, it says “THAT WAS EASY!” 
Still, I think the end result is an improvement over the original design (and not just for accuracy sake).
I know this thread is old, but I had to comment, that got a laugh out of me, lol
also, my hand and arm looks so much like your hand and arm up there it is not even funny, lol
on the chance that you see this, what did you use for the sides on the trap? (you know the angled pieces)

i took a for sale sign and cut it to fit each side. one side is longer than the other… you’ll understand what that means when you go to do it
The different lengths huh? guess that rules out me cutting both pieces at once, lol,

I forgot to mention how awesome it looks, and is one of the best RGB trap conversions I have ever seen
it looks like the front claws were cut off, and do any of the lights work or were they drill and place?

thanks for the complements!! no, the lights dont work. actually, the little bar light in the front, i placed a red piece of plexi glass on some painters tape, super glued it to the styrene, spray painted it, and then pulled the tape off. the round one in the back i just drilled a hole and stuck it in there
