My uniform so far (plus equipment for the belt)

Here’s a quick pic of all the stuff I gathered so far.

The trap is a Nick-A-Tron rubber/foam kit with a working red light, but I have yet to glue on some buttons plus the side rods and then lightly weather it all. I ordered a real CAL-R resistor and a male Foster connector to make the trap “pop” a little more. I also made a simple V-hook to then carry that trap on my belt.

The belt gizmo, the trap holster and the radio holster I built myself after looking at a couple reference pics.

The gizmo holster is from TygerCheex (slightly modified).

My tan Zombierepellent leg hose connector is on the way. So I guess it will be time to suit up soon!

I am still looking for accurate boots and a black LC-1 ALICE frame, and one fine day, I’ll build my pack to go with all this.

For now, my old Army boots will have to do, and I’ll go hunt for ghosts without a pack.

Here’s a bigger version of the pic:

How did you make the v Hook for your trap?

I just bent the female part from aluminium and made a corresponding male part from matte black ABS for the trap holster.

Here’s some pics:

Good start so far. I am surprised that you were able to find the LC-1 kidney pad with the turnbuckle. Keep it up and you will have that pack in no time.

Looking good!! Let me know how you plan to connect that leg hose. Im still thinking of some ways that’ll make washing easy

Thanks, guys! I had luck finding the vintage waist pad. The turnbuckle is in great condition. The waist strap is milspec though, so no metal buckles/clips for now. Maybe I’ll find a proper one when it comes to building the pack.

I will use one of ZombieRepellent’s great tan leg hose connectors, I have 2 coming my way as we speak. One for a bro of mine here im Germany and one for my own flightsuit. Those are machine washable as far as I know.

Ah cool, I got the same ones, mine arrived already so yours should be there soon! They look good, keep us updated as you go along and good luck! Also if you’re interested in getting a PASS alarm for your belt, I had luck by just asking local fire stations.

Yeah, mine should arrive any time soon. I am always so impatient like a kid before Xmas…

Living across the big pond always means longer shipping times (plus higher fees), so bad luck for me.

Also, German firemen don’t use these kinda alarm thingies. Since I am all for GB1, it’s not for me anyways. But thanks for the tip!

As soon as I have my leg hose connector, it’s time to finally suit up.

Great looking gear! You did a great job on the trap!

Thanks, Nick! I’m glad I did your trap kit some justice.

Bear in mind though that on those older pics the trap was not yet finished.

As of now it has dummy wheels and will soon be equipped with a real male foster coupler and a CAL-R resistor.

Here’s how it looks now:

I love this thing!

Looks great !
