I recently upgraded my Ecto1 (Plasma Series). I always wanted an Ecto 1, like Blitzway or Eaglemoss, but not at that price. This project was perfect for me.
►May I first say it is annoying the people that buy out the toy from Target to resell for 3 times the value. I luckily got mine on ebay for about the price it was in store.
►I got the lights from Evan Designs shorturl.at/bcxJK and also added some of my own to light the computers and the dash.
►I also added real rust and dust. And tinted the windows.
►Here are decals I created that will need to be scaled before printing
►Every car I saw had a Proton Pack Gurney. I know it wasn’t in the movie, but I wanted one. I weathered it to match the car. I bought this 1:18 scale toy and then made a 3d model. It is free at Proton Pack Gurney - Download Free 3D model by yourgeekfix [e465e8a] - Sketchfab
We then drove around holding the car out of the window to reenact the movie. You can see it below. Let me know if there are things you would have done differently.
