Need Help Finding Slime Ingredients

For my annual Halloween party this year, I decided to finally do a Ghostbusters theme. I want to have some fun with my guests. And by that, I mean that I… want… SLIME! Not just a tiny packet of some goo in a can you can find in a toy store. I want a big batch of it. I want my guests drowning in the stuff!

So, I found the recipe from the movies. It calls for, among other things, 8 cups of Methocel and 4.5 cups of Serapan. I can find Methocel in small 8oz. packages. I can’t find Serapan at all (Google thinks I meant 'serapes"! Does anyone know where to find these ingredients?

Being that you intend to slather people in it, I’d use something like this that’s made to be ingested… same goes for the rest of your ingredients because you don’t know who’s going to inhale this stuff. Just sayin’.
