I have tried all known forms of glue under the sun, any other ideas how to keep the ■■■■■■ thing together for good?

I cant make out the materials. Is the handle PVC and the rest foam or is that plywood?
Only suggestions I have is to bite the bullet and drill the gun box,.
This way your handle can actually fit into the gun body.
Alternatively screw and glue a dowel onto the gun box, make sure that the dowel is the same inner diameter as your handle, this way you can slide and fix you handle directly onto it.
The part I am least looking forward to is drilling the gun body. Holesaw is at the ready though! It’s the best way I can think of to make the gun handle stable enough. One drilled fix the handle to the inside and glue it inside the hole. No coming off then.
The way you have done it created the maximum force to the joint when you get hold of it. Thats why it keeps snapping. There is no glue on earth that would bond such a small surface with that much force applied.
your handle acts as a lever, rotating at the glued spot. when I made my gun, I made so the handle goes inside the box, with a lot of fastening material in the inside. Similar to the dowel method, but without blocking the access with an actual dowel.
Maybe this will help find solutions or ideas.
Good luck with your build.
Have you tried a simple 2 part 1:1 ratio Expoxy? You need to make sure your parts are clean and dust, dirt, and grease free. Mechanical means to secure parts is usually better than a chemical one. I dont worry about bolts comming loose, I worry about them plunging through the entire box itself. Build it twice as strong as you think you should.
I made mine via norms plans as well, with the pvc going directly into the gun box. What I used to secure it was Mighty Putty. The stuff is like concrete once it dries. Adds a little weight but feels very solid. You might be able to try it on this weak point.
I’d echo everyone else here. Unless you can weld it on, it’d probably be best to clean out the gun body around the area where the handle attaches and build a longer handle that’ll rest further inside the thing. Drill out a hole or two for your wiring for the gun too pack cables and she’ll be sturdier and good as new.
If you filled it with spray foam though, you have some fun ahead of you!
The handle on my RGB thrower is welded on, but that doesn’t really help here though.
Clean the foam out, drill wiring holes in and lengthen the handle, enforce everything from the inside and go from there.
Cheers!
I’d pull the handle away from the body, then sand the body down where they connected and sand the end of the handle to get them as flat as you can, then use wood filler or bondo on both to get a perfectly flat surface. Once that dries, I’d drill a couple holes, one below the other, large enough to accept something like a bolt, then push the bolts through from insid the body, apply glue to the threads and the rest of the body, and push the gun handle onto those.
I would also try to reinforce the bolts inside the gun with either a metal plate to prove more surface area, or washers if that’s your only option. You could also put another layer of wood in there.
Another option for the gun handle which would provide a sturdier conenction for the bolts would be to hollow out the handle and glue a wooden dowel in there. You could even use that as an anternative to the bolts. Fix the gun body with the wood filler firstm then drill a hole out that will fit the same size dowel that fits in the end of the gun handle. Then the dowel will provide the connection between the two instead of replacing your gun handle.
Thanks guys, you all have been major help here, I have a few friends who may be able to help me with this stuff, glad I asked here.
