Just found this on youtube. I personally think it is really well done, though I’m sure some won’t like the style, and that’s cool. This definitely just became one of my favorite versions of the song though. I could see something like this playing in the background if we get a bust montage in GB3 featuring newer, younger recruits.
Meh.. too “garage band”-y to me. But its not like we don;t have a plethora oversiopns to suit everyone’s tastes now.
I think my fav alternate versions are the Bad mash up, thunderstruck, and that recent commercial version.

NOTHING will EVER come close to being as good as the original! IMHO it’s a timeless classic, and if indeed they do decide to “update” it for GB 3 (if it ever happens), I think it would be better to maybe “enhance” it like they did for the game. Maybe, beef up the base, add a little reverb, and defifnately raise the volume on the guitars.
This is not that bad, but I’m with Gareee on this one. It does sound like a “garage band” cover.

Take the URL to mediaconverter.org and follow the steps. Set it for an MP3 conversion, and then it will allow you to save it at the end. Then just open it with itunes or whatever you use.
I dunno about being that critical.. I’m loving the GB/Bad mashup, The Extreme Gb theme, and the Thunderstruck versions.
