Of recent Mattel has stated that they have no plans to re-release the Ghost Trap, with the possible exception if another movie were to come out.
Another movie coming out? I’m sad to say something that wounds me deeply, but if they do another movie, they’ll probably do away with our old Ecto-1, the Proton Packs we all know and love, and probably even the traps. Because new toys. But truth be told, I’d rather have a film were those things were slightly modified or updated rather than completely left alone. This leads me to suspect things like traps won’t be re-released. I want this stuff out BEFORE the new movie comes out! I do hope the new one is good, and doesn’t ditch everything, though. This post is probably across multiple threads, but eh. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for all good things!
I honestly hope that they don’t make a 3rd, and at this point, I think its safe to say it wont happen.
