I imagine AJ will make a front page thread for this. for $130 with lights and sounds Im pretty happy with it. add a little silver “weathering” custom paint and you gotta sweet little gun!

ya, I didn’t read the lil sign so much when I first looked at it. If they have that type of functionality in it, that is pretty amazing. The whole crossing the streams thing with 2 next to each other is kinda an interesting sounding feature too, might need to buy 2 just to check that out.
Look t the tubing on the banjos. They look green.
Also look the black sheet under. A pack, firehouse or an ecto?
I’d imagine under the sheet is a pack. I can’t see an ECTO with Mattel owning Hot Wheels. Those products have come out already. It seems their niche is wearable items. But then again it seems REALLY small for a pack

So that means Matty will be getting nearly $600 from me in the near future. Guess I need to hold off on buying all that other Ghostbusters memorabilia…
Any indication this won’t happen? Because I really want this to happen. I’d love to grab one of their packs and mod the hell out of it. Plus, It’d be nice to have a psuedo-blueprint for me to build my own pack at some point. I’d feel a lot more comfortable building one if I had a reference, you know? And I just don’t know anyone with a pack, or even a similar interest in the Ghostbusters Franchise!

What’s made you ask about a chance of this not happening? The prototypes on display at Comic Con represent the investment that Mattel has made on the assumption they will sell. The scale Ecto-1 was a greater risk, which is why they only had the foamcore mockup.
The Proton Guns are less of a risk to them, and as things stand all indications support that the Proton Gun replicas will be produced and will go on sale later this year.
As for blueprints and reference, that’s what this forum is for… remember, Mattel will always cut some corners for financial reasons… the GBFans reference and prop plan galleries don’t cut any corners. 
What news on this? Still coming? Delays? Updates? Revisions? New pictures? Free-with-purchase stickers? INFORMATION!

They have the trap pictured with the wand…does that mean they will be re-releasing the trap too? that would be awesome!
