Hello every one, my name is Dion and I hale from Dartmouth, MA. I decided to build a proton pack and found this site. I was doing research a few days before it went down for rebuild and what I found, plus what I saw on other resource areas made me make a build decision.

I have done allot of research and feel it is best to make a mold out of solid MDF for fiberglassing later. I plan on making it all out of MDF then coating it in Bondo and priming it to get it nice and smooth. I think then I will make a silicone (or other type) of mold to reproduce these as needed. Here is the templates I have been working on for the Cyclotron and spacer assemblies. Not much to see, but a start none the less.

first, welcome to the board. second, a word of advice. take your time building it. when you rush is when you mess up. cant wait to watch your progress and see the final product.

My pack looked that pretty in the planning stages too. But then I attemped to actually make it and lets just say it got a lot less pretty real quick. Your work looks great but take keoni02’s advice and go slow or else you’ll end up like me; doing a ton of revisions and essentially doubling the time you will spend on your pack. Good luck to you.
