Started work on a new pack and wanted to try a modern style. I’ve blended elements from Extreme Ghosbusters (side boxes and main case), Real Ghostbusters (basic board shape and lack of N-Filter), and the Movie pack (ribbon cable, etc.) To keep the main case from looking to dull I’m going to have a hole cut and mounted inside will be a clear canister containing mood slime. Cyclotron is the same as normal just using a different light layout.
These canisters clip securely right into the pack and can be removed and replaced with different slime types. Hats off to member Fuzzymath for his label designs which directly inspired these.
Thanks it was fun building it. So finally got around to attaching an alice pack. Put on some finishing touches, scratches/weathering and added some details in the form of tubing, wire and circuit board to the rear of the slime canister slot to help fill the void. The circuit board is in fact a Sega Mega Drive aka Genesis complete with it’s controller ports and cartridge slot. Yes it can still play games. The pack got it’s first outing today attending a local event modelled here before we left by one of my fellow CQ Ghostbusters franchise members. Still need a wand and lighting for the slime canister slot.
