Ok… so I finally recieved my Iona shoe polisher in the mail… wich I’m quite proud of because I got it on my first attempt from ebay for like… 30 bucks, red case, accesories, the works. My question is… now what do I do? I mean… the only thing I’m even remotely sure to do is gut it and paint the thing black… but then what? I mean I know there’s the hyperdyne option… but… that site is both confusing and… by the look of the prices is owned by satan. (No offence to whoever owns it of course) I really am keen on getting this pke to light up and do nifty things!
I’ve looked through alot of threads… not them all mind you, but alot. I can’t find a straight answer as to how to achieve this without hyperdyne since it’s both A: expensive, B: seems they are constantly out of stock.
If you like I can start posting pics soon as I get this rolling, I may even edit this with pics of my unmodified iona… I need this prop… I’m not satisfied with how last years prop went… (Ecto-goggles) found out I built them backwards.
Please… all help is more than appreciated.
Right, well, I gutted it last night, and I’m cleaning it right now. My question now is, do I need anythign I gutted out of it? More specifically do I need the black peice that the black and red wires were connected to? I’m assuming that’s where you plugged in the ac cord. Anyway lemme know, thanks in advance.

I started doing the conversion myself but put it aside to complete my pack. But now that that is done I’m ready to come back and finish it off.
I still need to find electronics myself and feel your pain.
That’s pretty cool… atleast that would be what I WOULD say if I could see the link… EZboard doesn’t exactly want me to participate in their message boards for some reason… it refuses to send me my account information and I’ve tried registering new accounts… they don’t send it to me either…

I may end up doing the same thing about forgeting about the PKE for a bit and workin’ on the pack. I’ve got a whole thread on that in the other section though… drop by if you think you can help at all.

Yeah, I’m sure I’ll get in sooner or later, probably later. Nevertheless though, thanks a bunch for the link. If you end up doin’ the electronics on your own, lemme know how ya did it.
