Here’s a little something I drew up last night in paint shop, I know it’s a crappy program to draw in but I like it for some reason, it’s very tuff to use but once you are used to it…wow it’s fun.
Anyways here’s the pic, the first one is the normal plain non shaded one, and the other I added shading to, let me know what one you like better. To actually make the non shaded took me nearly 3 hours and about 30 minutes to shade the other one. The last one is just a random alteration that kind of feels anime like to me, I was just messing around with color options really, I don’t think I like Slimer purple though, that’s why I added a bit to him to make him feel a little less slimery.

OKAY THE NEXT FEW VERSIONS OF THIS ARE SIMPLY TO SHOW THE DIFFERENT THINGS I DID IN PAINT SHOP.The first one is a simple outline of the drawing and was the first step, the next one is showing what it would look like in black and white…I did that all on my own with out any color reductions or filters( this is paint shop mind you) The next one shows an updated anime stylized version, and then lastly a tweaked up gb1 version, I added a lot to this one and mostly it’s just little details to make it more finished and polished, I think I changed something like 20 or so things. Anyways that’s it for this picture no more needs to be done I am leaving it be but I wanted to show you all the little versions, hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
Thanks for the kind words fellas, it means a lot. This paint program is a bitch to use I think once I start getting better with it my pictures will get a little bigger and more detailed, but for now it’s sprite drawings and characters.
I’m trying to figure out a little something for the background so it doesn’t seem so empty, if anyone has any ideas shoot them my way.
could work…but what kind of scene, and would i need to draw the character full body to accomodate the scene…did I spell that right accomodate, or is it accomadate maybe…ahh who gives a shit.
Nice! I like them all, but I especially like the shaded version of the regular GB with Slimer. I wish I had more time to play around with Photoshop, I miss doing art like this!

Okay it’s been a long while since I posted any updates on this pic,I sat down on my laptop the other day bored as hell and decided to chip away a little bit. I finished the body, and started detailing both the character ans slimer. I still have no idea what I should draw up for the backgrounddid a little bill murray head and threw it onto the character to see how it would look. Give me some feedback fellas, and if anyone can render these for me I would really apprecciate it a lot, I’d even pay if need be.
